An argyle grid, burned into the denim rather than printed on it. Oversized diamonds run across the front, back and side of each leg as pale lattice lines, lifted out of the indigo or the black so the pattern sits in the fabric itself.

• Machine wash cold, inside out
• Wash away from whites — the bleach effect keeps working
• Do not bleach
• Hang dry
• Do not tumble dry; the raw hem unravels faster with heat
• Trim loose threads at the hem rather than pulling them
• Wash the indigo and the black separately
• Do not dry clean
