Red lightning, stitched across the seat. Denim shorts with a red lightning-bolt motif embroidered across both back pockets and up the seat. Wide leg, below the knee, in a light blue wash or a washed black.

• Machine wash cold, inside out
• Wash separately for the first two washes — the red thread bleeds
• Do not leave damp; red thread will mark the denim around it
• Do not bleach
• Hang dry
• Do not tumble dry — heat puckers the fabric around dense embroidery
• Press around the embroidery, never over it
• Do not dry clean
