Carpenter-style jeans with panelled thigh and knee seams and the Valley script at the front thigh and back pocket. The black pair carries white paint splatter across both legs with blown-out slashes at the knee and hip, deep patch pockets on the back and a baggy straight leg.

• Machine wash cold, inside out
• Wash the indigo on its own until it stops bleeding
• Do not bleach
• Hang dry
• Do not tumble dry; heat lifts the paint and widens the slashes
• Press from the reverse only, never over the paint or script
• Reinforce a slash from behind before it runs
• Do not dry clean
